The Anderson University women's soccer team captured a 1-0 victory against Wilmington College on Saturday in Wilmington, Ohio.

Emily Buchman (Fishers, Ind./Fishers) converted a penalty kick 41 minutes into the match and the Ravens led the rest of the way. D'Anjrea Allen (Indianapolis, Ind./Perry Meridian) posted a clean sheet, saving each of the six shots she faced.

Buchman totaled five shots, including two shots on goal. Kattie Essick and Sabrina Morrison (Bloomington, Ind./South) each registered two shots on goal. Jessica Pulaski (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville), Morgan Reed (Haubstadt, Ind./Gibson Southern) and Harper Manion (Lebanon, Ohio/Bishop Fenwick) each provided a shot on target.

Morrison finished with three shots while Essick, Reed and Betsy Balish (Fountaintown, Ind./Triton Central) contributed two shots. Pulaski and Manion also produced shots.

Anderson returns home for two matches. The Ravens take on Trine University (2-1-1) on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the AU Soccer Fields. Anderson then hosts Alma College (2-2) on Family Day on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the AU Soccer Fields.
