Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology earned a 1-0 victory against the Anderson University women's soccer team during Wednesday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in Terre Haute.
Lauren Marquardt netted a goal for the Fightin' Engineers (4-2-4, 2-1) in the 60th minute with Jayden Gibson and Kiana Martin on the assists. Rose-Hulman outshot the Ravens (4-4-2, 1-1-1) by a 22-4 margin with a 12-1 advantage in shots on goal.
Adrienne Weyers saved 11-of-12 (91.7 percent) shots. Paige Tomallo tallied three shots and one shot on goal while Hannah Thompson added a shot.
Anderson faces off with Transylvania University (7-3-1, 2-1) in HCAC action on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Lexington, Ky.
