Rose-Hulman Edges Anderson in Penalty-Kick Shootout
After 110 minutes of scoreless soccer, second-seeded Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and the third-seeded Anderson University women’s soccer team entered a penalty-kick shootout. Rose-Hulman edged Anderson 3-2 to advance past the Ravens in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Semifinals on Wednesday in Terre Haute.

Rose-Hulman edged Anderson 3-2 to advance past the Ravens in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Semifinals on Wednesday in Terre Haute.
Paige Tomallo and Taylor Baker each converted their penalty kicks.
Riley Schultz and Taylor Fort provided two shots on goal apiece. Brooke Neu, Lillie Casey and Kylie Roberts each contributed shots on goal while Mandy Williams added a shot.
Emmalee Paarlberg recorded a six-save shutout.
Rose-Hulman outshot Anderson 14-8, but the Ravens held a 7-6 advantage in shots on goal.
Baker, Fort and Neu each closed out their collegiate careers with Wednesday's match.
