"I was really pleased with our possession and how we moved the ball around and played simple," Coach Jennifer Myhre said. "We knew if we continued to stay composed, kept moving off the ball and played quickly, the goals would come. Getting the early goal in the second half was key and Emily Wilusz provided great pressure up top to get in. All throughout the game we had great chances and the wings really worked hard and were effective getting in behind. The second goal gave us some room to breathe and it was a great combination by Lauren Brown and Taylor Fort to give us the assurance goal."
Fort closed the day with a goal and an assist for three points. The senior from Pendleton tallied three shots and one shot on goal. Lillie Casey also provided three shots and one shot on goal. Wilusz recorded two shots and one shot on goal. Foster and Kylie Roberts each put their only shot on frame. Brown and Hannah Caes registered two shots apiece. Taylor Baker, Brooke Neu and Lillie Wessel each added a shot to round out Anderson's 20 shots.
