Â
"[Saturday] was a game of perseverance and belief," Coach Jennifer Myhre said. "We were playing well and just had the setbacks on two free-kick goals. The team continued to press hard and battled back to find the final goal. In overtime, there were some early close goals and we had to keep knocking on the door. All three goals were awesome and great for each of them to step up and find the net."
Â
Anderson outshot Bethel 27-14 and held a 14-11 advantage in shots on goal.
Â
Sabrina Morrison (Bloomington, Ind./South), Reed and Manion registered three shots on goal apiece while Jessica Pulaski (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville), Emily Buchman (Fishers, Ind./Fishers), Emily Stout (Grand Rapids, Mich./The Potter's House), Betsy Balish (Fountaintown, Ind./Triton Central) and Baver each contributed shots on target.
Â
Reed led the Ravens with six shots. Baver notched five shots. Manion turned in four shots. Morrison and Balish put together three shots apiece. Pulaski and Stout each produced two shots while Hannah Planck (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) added a shot.
Â
