Peterson (Petch) Costa enters the 2024-25 season in his third year as a women's soccer assistant coach. He joined the Women’s Soccer team as a Graduate Assistant Coach during the 2022 & 2023 seasons and is continuing on as an assistant coach in 2024. Petch received his MBA from AU in 2023 and previously graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in December of 2021. He attended Central Community College in Nebraska during his freshman and sophomore years.

Petch was named to the All-Conference and All region team at Central and was one of the Top Five players in the nation in assists. At Oklahoma Baptist, Petch was the Midfielder of the Year. Growing up in Brazil, Petch played for the Salvador Futebol Clube and Esporte Clube Jacuipense.

Petch has served as the head coach of the Celtics Youth club and RISE Futbal academy in OK and was an assistant for the Tulsa Athletic – NPSL team this past spring. After his under grade Petch worked for Barracuda Staffing as an Operations Assistant.
