The CoSIDA Academic All-America program recognizes student-athletes for academic and athletic excellence.
"I'm so proud of Big Lex," Coach Jon Gin said. "I'm glad people are recognizing her for the hard work she puts in each and every day. We always preach how you do one thing is how you do everything and that couldn't be truer than with Lex. She crushes everything she does with such excellence, whether it is on the court or in the classroom. She is such a great example of what every student-athlete should strive to be like and deserves to be celebrated for all her hard work. I'm thankful she sets the tone for our team and leads us well."
