- Coach Jon Gin's Comments – This is a great way to honor Makynlee's senior year and well deserved! She was huge for us all season long both on and off the court. We'll miss her a lot next year but she has left behind a great legacy here at AU and I have no doubt her name will be in the record books for many years to come.
Izzy Davis (Sophomore; 5-8 Guard; Indianapolis, Ind./Bishop Chatard)
- Conference-Only Stats – 9.7 Points Per Game (20th in HCAC), 1.6 Assists Per Game, 1.2 Steals Per Game, 61/138 (44.2%) FG, 41/54 (75.9%) FT
- Overall Stats – 9.2 Points Per Game, 1.7 Assists Per Game, 1.3 Steals Per Game, 81/199 (40.7%) FG, 57/72 (79.2%) FT
- Coach Jon Gin's Comments – I love that the coaches in our league recognized how important Izzy's role is to our team. She humbly accepted coming off the bench for us this year to lead our second unit (which was one of the best in the country). She has always been a playmaker on offense, but I'm most proud of how she stepped up her defense for us this year. Can't wait to see how she continues to grow and improve next year.
Sydney Sierota (Sophomore; 5-6 Guard; Sellersburg, Ind./Silver Creek)
- Conference-Only Stats – 7.1 Points Per Game, 2.2 Steals Per Game (2nd in HCAC), 2.5 Assists Per Game (T-11 in HCAC)
- Overall Stats – 6.5 Points Per Game, 2.8 Steals Per Game (1st in HCAC), 2.4 Assists Per Game (11th in HCAC)
- One of 25 players to record triple-double in NCAA D-III
- HCAC Athlete-of-the-Week recipient in 2023-24 season
- Coach Jon Gin's Comments – Sitting out last year because of a torn ACL was tough, but I couldn't be prouder of how Sydney worked her tail off to come back and be 100% both mentally and physically this year. She spearheaded our defense and played with a fire that was contagious for our entire team. I'm excited to see how she continues to grow and lead us.
