Anderson University women's basketball players Izzy Davis, Victoria Detraz and Paige Williamson earned all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) recognition, which was announced by the conference on Wednesday.
Davis garnered first-team all-HCAC honors, Detraz received all-HCAC honorable mention and Williamson was named to the HCAC all-newcomer team.
"I'm super excited about Izzy, V, and Paige making All HCAC," Coach Jon Gin said. "I always think all-conference awards are not only about the individual, but are also about the entire team. Our team has done a great job making sure these ladies improve every day at practice. Not many thought we'd be able to finish in the top half of our conference this year, but our success just speaks to the hard work, and dedication our squad has put in this year."
Izzy Davis (Junior; 5-8 Guard; Indianapolis, Ind./Bishop Chatard)
- Career All-Conference Accolades – First Team (2024-25), Honorable Mention (2023-24)
- Named HCAC Athlete of the Week this season (has earned two selections in her career)
- Beth Baker Classic All-Tournament Team (2024-25)
- Conference-Only Averages – 14.44 Points (6th in HCAC), 4.89 Assists (1st in HCAC), 1.05 Assist-Turnover Ratio (88 Assists, 84 Turnovers, 5th in HCAC), .755 Free-Throw Percentage (74-for-98, 8th in HCAC), 1.1 Steals

- 121 Assists for 2024-25 Season (Tied for 7th School History)
- Coach Jon Gin's Comments – I'm super proud that Iz was able to make first-team all HCAC. She worked her tail off this off-season and it has paid off in a huge way for us. She is all about our team, and has always been willing to sacrifice for us. Last year, she humbly came off the bench for us, and this year, she transitioned to playing more point guard for us, because that's what our team needed. That's one of the things I love most about Izzy, she is always putting our team first.
Victoria Detraz (Sophomore; 6-2 Post; Valparaiso, Ind./Morgan Twp.)
- All-HCAC Honorable Mention (2024-25)
- Conference-Only Averages – 3.06 Blocks (1st in HCAC), 9.50 Rebounds (2nd in HCAC), 8.9 Points
- Overall Averages – 2.68 Blocks (12th in nation, 1st in HCAC), 8.44 Rebounds (6th in HCAC), 8.3 Points
- 67 Blocks during 2024-25 Season (2nd in School History, Anderson D-III Era School Record)
- 2.68 Blocks Per Game during 2024-25 Season (4th in School History)
- 86 Career Blocks (7th in School History)
- Coach Jon Gin's Comments – I think V is the most-improved player on our roster this year. I'm so proud that she was able to make Honorable Mention. She has really locked in this year and has been disciplined about getting in the gym. She has been an absolute force on the defensive end (currently 12th in the country in blocks). I can't wait to see her continue to improve, I think we are still just scratching the surface with her.
Paige Williamson (Freshman; 5-7 Guard; Rockford, Ohio/Parkway)
- HCAC All-Newcomer Team (2024-25)
- Conference-Only Averages – 5.7 Points, 1.33 3-Pointers Made (T-8 in HCAC), .343 3-Point Field-Goal Percentage (24-for-70)
- Overall Averages – 5.9 Points, 1.44 3-Pointers Made (7th in HCAC), .327 3-Point Field-Goal Percentage (36-for-110)
- Coach Jon Gin's Comments – I'm so glad Paige made the all-newcomer team. She has an unbelievable work ethic. She is always in the gym getting shots up, and I can't wait to see her continue to expand her game. She is going to continue to be a headache for the rest of the HCAC.
